Thanksgiving Weekend Performances
Max Scott’s WOOF @ View Bar NYC
Hey there and happy holidays!
This past Monday night I had the pleasure of performing at The View Bar here in NYC at Max Scott’s WOOF. It was the “School of Rock” night so we were bangin out all the old classics! What an amazing crowd! We weren’t sure at first with the season premier of “Heros”, the weather being cold, and it being the start of the Thanksgiving holiday week, but the people came and turned it out! Did I mention a few of the NY softball players came after their winning game so they were ready to have some fun.
After performing the “Don’t Stop Believin’ 2007 NYC Pride Mix” and premiering my new ballad, “All I Wanna Be”, I had the honor of being serenaded with a birthday song by the incredible Sylvia Touson and Max Scott! Thank you all for being so sweet and remembering me!
This weekend I am off to Ft. Lauderdale and Toronto for back to back shows and will keep you posted on those when I get back!
Have a great Thanksgiving!

WOW! What a couple of months!
Hey everyone,
I am SO sorry for the delay in posting, but it’s been so crazy this past month!! So much is happening…where do I begin?
Let’s start with my debut album is OUT! Yes, Breathe Life is available at CDBaby.com and iTunes as well as other digital outlets. There is some very exciting news regarding distribution, but I can’t tell you what yet! Keep your eyes posted!
I recently returned from Palm Springs where I opened for the amazing Martha Wash (pic below)! What a show! The crowd was great and we all had a great time. The night prior, I was interviewed by the fabulous Pepper MaShay for her show on PNN…I just love her to death!! A special thanks to the guys who came to both shows and my number one fan, Michael, who sat right in the front and sang with me!! You guys ROCK!
Talk about security…the organizers of PS Pride made both Ari Gold and myself feel like, Barbara Streisand and Madonna, respectively (love you Ari). Between the secret service agent driven SUV’s and specific seating arrangements to make sure I was not assassinated during transport (a tad over the top, but fun nonetheless), there was no way those hundreds of stalkers were getting to me…LOL Of course the golf cart to take us 10 yards instead of walking REALLY made me feel like a million dollars…thanks to everyone at PS Pride for an amazing experience…you guys are first class!
Until next time! Don’t Stop Believin’!

Aquafest Cruise in Alaska!
Well, I am finally home from my performance cruise to Alaska and British Columbia with Aquafest Cruises and WOW, what a trip! The ship was absolutely amazing and courtesy of Holland America Lines with over 1900 passengers and 1000 crew members on board.
Our first day was a sea day, all water, no land, grey skies and a bit rocky, but we made it through the day to the eve of my first of two shows on board in the appropriate named Queen’s Lounge. I called this my “Pop Show”, as it was made up of material from my new album and a few other songs that I have always loved to perform from Duncan Shiek, Elton John, and a special rendition of the The Love Boat with a few lyrical changes…lol. The evening was a great success and I couldn’t wait for the next show a few days later.
Our first major sighting was the next day going through Glacier Bay where we got to see some of the most amazing glaciers on the earth! The day was sunny and spectacular (see pic at top left..yes, I took that!) and I felt like I was in a painting…very surreal!
On Wednesday, we finally docked in Juneau, the capitol city of Alaska. Unfortunately, the weather was quite bad and our fabulous shore excursion to fly in a sea plane and land on a glacier was cancelled…Fine by me, I was in no mood to have a reenactment of The Titanic via sea plane!
My next performance was Thursday night and I called this my “Broadway Show”. I sang all Broadway, something I had not done in a long while. Everything from Kicks, The Musical to Rockey Horror to The Fantastiks and Porgy and Bess…YES, it was a lot of fun. I shouldn’t forget my Puerto Rican version of Tomorrow from Annie. All in all, a fun night!
Self-proclaimed “Female Delusionist”, Bianca Del Rio, was also on board with me and boy did she keep us on our toes. She had a wig and a dream and look at her now! If you’re in New York, be sure to catch her at Barracuda on Tuesday nights and Vlada Lounge on Thursday nights! She is one of a kind!
The rest of the trip was great and the people on the cruise were some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. If you have the chance to take a vacation, be sure to check out Aquafest Cruises!
Until next time!

Release Party/Seattle
Hey everyone!
First off, thanks to everyone who came out on Sept 11 for my release party at Elmo Lounge! What a great night! The energy was amazing thanks to DJ’s Lina, Drew G., Jack Reina, and Scotty T who kept the crowd moving throughout the entire event….you guys all ROCK! After lots of socialiazing and dancing, I was surprised with 6 dozen white iced cupcakes from Billy’s bakery (to die for) thanks to my favorite girl Elise.
At around 10:30pm we moved the party to Barracuda for a live performance…all I can say is WOW! The crowd was filled with energy and made me feel like a million dollars. Outside of the fact that drag queen extroidanare Bianca Del Rio got lipstick on the mic while introducuing me which then transferred over to my lips during my first number (real cute)…the show was a blast!
I promise to post pics from the night as I get them!
I am currently in my hotel in Seattle, Washington getting ready to board the Holland America ship for my performance cruise to Alaska! It’s overcast and rainy (that’s Seattle for ya), but I am thrilled about seeing what is supposed to be some of the country’s most beautiful sights of nature.
More when I return next week!
Until then,
Brian
Breathe Life Release Party on Sept 11!
Hey there!
I’m so excited…September 11 is almost here…jeez, I never thought those words would ever leave my mouth. So many people have asked me why I chose to have a release on September 11th with all the darkness that surrounds that day. I guess I just feel that while we’ll never forget the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001, it was time for me to not make every September 11 for the rest of my life be filled with darkness, but rather light. Releasing this album on that date felt so right…especially given the message of the title, Breathe Life. I hope you’ll help me remember what happened on September 11, 2001, but Breathe Life back into September 11th, 2007.
