Thanks to everyone who cam out last night to Paradise Club in Asbury Park for the show! What a fun night and the crowd was off the hook! Keep your eyes out for a return performance this summer!! A special shout out to DJ Jack Reina, Shep Pettibone, and the staff at Paradise for having me out there!
The new track is set to release within the next two weeks…get ready for a sneak preview of the artwork in the next week or so!
Finally, be sure to check out the “Best Moments of the 2009 OutMusic Awards” this Tuesday night on LOGO at 7pm/6pm Central. The show will feature an interview and my moment winning the OutMusic Award for Best Dance Song!
Be well and don’t stop believin’!
I was honored to receive the 2009 OutMusic Award this past Tuesday night at Webster Hall in NYC for Best Dance Song of the Year for Breathe Life! Thanks and hats off to the LGBT Recording Academy, all of my fellow nominees, my friends and fans, and all those OutMusic members who voted for me!
It’s been a busy last couple of weeks for me! First and most exciting, I have a new track that I just finished in LA with producer, Jack D. Elliot. “I’ll Find A Way” is a writing child of myself, Jack D. Elliot and Jemma Elliot and I couldn’t be happier with it! Keep your eyes and ears open in the next couple of months for it’s release along with some remixes for the dance floor!
I am thrilled and honored to have been nominated for 3 OutMusic Awards! Best Album of The Year, Best Electro/Dance Artist, and Outstanding Single. If you’re in NYC on December 8th, get a ticket and come down to see to show! It should be quite amazing with all of the GLBT talent from around the country!
I’ll be back in the studio with Jack and Jemma again in December to complete a second track that we started on our last session. It’s gonna be HOT!
Until then, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving if I don’t write before then!
Well, the boys and I are in rehearsal preparing for this weekend for our performance at Market Days on Halstead Street! The show is gonna be great and we couldn’t be more excited to perform!
Starting on Friday night, I make an in studio appearance on Dave Tripper’s show on Chicago’s hottest dance station, Fusion Radio! If you have iTunes, you can listen to it in the RADIO section and then in the DANCE music section.
Then the big show is Saturday at 2:15pm on the Roscoe stage…I hope to see everyone there for the festivities!
That’s all for now, keep checking for Twitter updates throughout the weekend for the latest happening from appearances, to sound checks, and backstage at the show itself!
Well, Boston pride was amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the show! It was an amazing day in terms of weather and the crowd was ready for some serious sangin! Performing before Taylor Dayne was an honor and, of course, she rocked the house. Checkout the review of pride at Bay Windows Magazine.
The set up was pretty great with the stage and sound being nothing but the best. After sound check the boys (dancers) and I chilled for a few hours before showtime. If you didn’t catch the show there are videos posted by fans on YouTube…just search Brian Kent and Boston to find them and check out the show.
On another note, if you haven’t seen the exclusive mini documentary RJO did on the behind the scenes of Boston Pride, you got a check it out below or go to my YouTube Channel where you can catch all my official videos!
Off to Olympia for pride this weekend! Pray for great weather!
